The next few weeks I am going to analyse the brand The Body Shop such as their name, logo and other brand elements. I particularly choose this brand for a couple of reasons.
First of all, I wanted to analyse a brand that isn’t new on the market, but that already existed for a while. I wanted to examine a brand with a history. So I could see the development over the years and how it responded to various situations.
Secondly I wanted to study a brand that is modern. The Body Shop is active online including a webshop and participating social media. The Body Shop is well known for being active in current trends like fair trade, corporate social responsibility and against animal testing.
Last but not least, I am a frequent buyer of The Body Shop, I always liked their products (such as the strawberry body lotion or the banana shampoo). Also I like her adverts, for example the newest advertisement of the honey products. It is looks friendly and sweet.
